New Breed Creation Life Center is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities. New Breed Creation Life Center (NBC) is a non- profit faith based organization that provides outpatient prevention and treatment services with an established history of serving those in need of substance abuse treatment, those who may be homeless, diagnosed or at risk with contracting HIV/HepC, mental health illnesses and social needs of the community. The vast majority of NBC clients are also disabled by chronic social disenfranchisement fueled by factors associated with race, disability and socioeconomic status.  New Breed Creation Life Center’s  mission within the last decade has evolved to not only providing prevention and treatment services to the substance misuse population but to address the mental health needs of the urban core, encompassing and embracing a community mental health paradigm.

            As community demographics have evolved, NBC is more cognizant of its need to expand services to a more diverse population. While the vast majority of NBC clients are funded through Medicaid, there is also a need to address the mental health needs of the clients financed through Medicare and other insurers. While this increasing population is not defined as SPMI, their need for mental health intervention and service is no less. The need to expand NBC outreach is contingent on employing a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide services to the Medicare population.

            NBC’s goal to offer services to disabled adults, who are not funded by Medicaid, but no less in need of mental health and substance misuse treatment in their communities.
